  • I have a question can I just burn games on to a blank small disk with imgburn plus of course the sd media launcher and then just put it in instead or do I have to put everything on the Swiss? (New to this a bit confused)

  • Just subscribed… great stuff! So, the SD2SP2 ROM support was limited because of emulator support? I am seeing that some of the emulators like the SNES9x have updates to allow it as seen here: https://wiibrew.org/wiki/Snes9x_GX
Might be a good subject for a quick update video

  • Do you need to boot action replay every time, or is there a way to boot from the memory card like with free mcboot?

  • I bought a modded SD card from EBay. I have Colleseum but it still allows me to boot up the GBA player.

  • So I've spent the last hour or so trying to find some answers to a few questions. First time with homebrew. I found a guide here: https://coolaj86.com/articles/gamecube-homebrew-guide-for-n00bs/
You both use the Action Replay and an SD Gecko(at least the one that's linked in the article). But on the codejunkies site for the Action Replay, it says that it comes with an SD Media Adapter. Do you still need the separate Gecko if the AR comes with an SD to memory card adapter?
The article also lists WW or SSBM, I've got both, that's not an issue. But then on its step 9, for the launcher disc to use the AR/WW/SSBM/other. Does this make the AR irrelevant if I have either of those games and a Gecko? Or would I need AR to set up Swiss for the first time on a card and could use any of them to launch with later?

  • I was wondering, regarding ripping GameCube games which is better; a GameCube or a Wii, or are they both the same? I’m intending to use the sd2sp2 on a GameCube to play from.

  • One question, can you just load downloaded GC roms with the SD2SP2 via Swiss?

  • Amazing video! Worked perfectly. One question though is there a way to save files to the SD card, or will I need an actual GC Memory card?

  • Regardless of the sd memory card being in the console, my action replay always goes to a black screen after the gamecube boot up. The gamecube does seem to recognize the disk from the gamecube menu as the action replay by datel, and the sd card adapter I'm using is identical to the one seen in the video. I am using a micro sd 2gb but I don't see any reason why this would be an issue. Any ideas from troubleshooters in the comments?

  • Hey any chance you can provide a simple guide to my issue? I have a SD2SP2 and a 64GB MicroSD. My gamecube is running Cobra 1.2 via Viper GC mod. How do I initialize the SD card to work with the gamecube and I have a Swiss boot disc would that help?

  • So I forced a game to run at 480p with Swiss, but when it came to loading a save, the game tells me there’s no memory card in slot A (It’s a game that doesn’t support slot B) when there actually is (the game is running from the original disc and the sd card with Swiss is in slot B, and this is on Wii). Do you know anything that could help me?
